Membership Form

    Eligibility

    Eligible members need to be currently registered with either the General medical Council (GMC) or the Nurse Medical Council (NMC), and be in good standing.

    The PCSF is funded by membership subscription and run as a not-for-profit company. The PCSF has been endorsed and supported by NHSE to host the National Network of Named GPs.

    Membership is appropriate and open for any of the following working with an operational and / or strategic focus, interest in Primary Care Safeguarding (whether for children or adults or both)

    • General Practitioners
    • GP Practice Safeguarding leads
    • Primary Care Nurses leading in Safeguarding
    • Named GPs (or UK equivalents)
    • Named Nurses / Nurse consultants working in Primary Care

    Members are welcome from all four UK jurisdictions.

    Benefits of membership include:

    • A secure email discussion group / forum;
    • Access to appropriate ICD Level resources (ICD 3 and 4)
    • for Named GPs and equivalents on our website
    • Access to level 3 resources for GP practice SG leads and equivalents via our website.
    • Pooled and shared resources to assist in PC SG support
    • Regular educational webinars, for both L3 and L4 ICD standards

    Membership for the year 2024-2025 will run from January to December. The conference this year will be held in March using a virtual platform. It is our aim to run both a Level 3 and Level 4 conference which will be recorded and the links available on our website. So members can now access two conferences for £150 and also avail the other benefits of the membership.

    We have simplified the payment process keeping in mind that all members now will have access to the conference recordings. Hence you need to pay £150  (£120 for membership and £30 for conference) as a one off payment and the link to the conference will be sent nearer the time.

    For members who paid £120 pounds after end March 2023, please pay the extra £30 for access to the conference

Following sign up you will get a login for the PCSF website which will also allow you access to the PCSF forum. You will get monthly notification of the webinars.
