The website is a professional resource intended to support safeguarding professionals in their efforts to provide high quality support to peers as well as health care to patients

Please read this section carefully as it contains the legal terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) to which  you agree when using this website which has been designed for the use of members of the PCSF. 

Approved Persons

This website is for use by Approved Persons who are members of the PCSF, or who are subject to conditional membership as members of the RNNGP and the NNNGP (approved organisations) . 

Registration and Data Requirements

In order to become a member of PCSF and then use the services of the website, you will be required to register an account and provide certain personal information such as your name, email address, address, profession, occupation, specialty and depending on your country of practice, your medical or nursing number or equivalent. You may choose to update or supplement the personal information that you provided at registration at any time through your account settings or by contacting the PCSF administrator. It is important that this information is kept up to date and accurate. This information is required to ensure that only approved members can access website resources. Users providing information found to be inaccurate will have usage rights removed.

Security Information

To access The Website, you need to provide your email address and create a password. Your email address and password constitute your ‘Security Information’. You must ensure that this password is not disclosed to anyone because you will be held responsible and liable for all activities which occur when someone is logged in using your Security Information. It is your responsibility to notify PCSF immediately of any unauthorised use of your Security Information or any other breach of security as soon as you become aware of it.

Confidentiality

Materials provided on The Website may of a potentially sensitive nature. You must therefore take all reasonable care to prevent others from gaining unauthorised access. This includes not leaving your screen unattended while logged in to The Website and always logging out when away from your computer. 

Code of Conduct

You are personally responsible for all use you make of this site and activities you carry out in relation to it. Only website editors may make changes to the site. However, there may be areas like blogs, feedback and messages to which you will be able to contribute. You must not knowingly provide any incorrect information to this site and must take all reasonable care to ensure that all information that you do provide is informative, accurate and relevant. 

Any useful guidance or tools you would like shared with members should be forwarded to the website editors for approval and uploading.
